Edit:I finally figured out how to post a guide and made this into one! It got truncated, but I fixed it sort of.Transform Interupt MethodStyle Interrupts are paramount:It is always valuable to interrupt a style's recovery animations by swapping rapidly between different ones, but I finally found an exceptional use; additionally, I have an increased appreciation for Transformation styles.

Jade Empire Walkthrough Jade Empire puts you in the shoes of a humble student of martial arts in a small academy on the fringes of the massive area ruled over by Emperor Sun Hai. (Page 33) Jade Empire: Special Edition (PC) Game Guide. A complete walkthrough and more. When you tire of the sport, take out the jade golem. Then, finish whatever humans.

In fact, this method is primarily focused on Jade Master (JM) difficulty and Transformations. Here goes the spew: issues (-), solutions (+), putting it together, and then a battle.-Issues:-Enemies in JM are so damage resistant (DR), even Jade Golem struggles to kill them; it is like chopping down a tree with a hatchet; this means martial styles feel like a spoon and weapons like a knife.-Prolonged battles, due to enemy DR, drive Chi costs of transformations into unacceptable levels. Even Chi Strike on martial and weapon styles suffer. However, the enemies are so sturdy, it is pointless not to use Chi Strike. Catch 22.-Bypassing blocks with martial Power attacks, do unsatisfactory damage and leaves the character exposed too long. With multiple damage sources, this is far too risky.

If only Jade Golem had mobility.-Tang's Vengeance suddenly feels to wimpy. Thank the Water Dragon, that it at least has no Focus costs if upgraded! This leaves little enthusiasm for martial styles, other than the mobility and speed.-Even unarmed Ghosts and magic throwing Lost Spirits can damage a transformed character with certain attacks, so the lack of mobility equals death. Our character does piddling damage, our followers do even less, but the enemies do. Heck, I don't know, hundreds of percent more damage than normal.-Light attack combos (martial styles) do so little damage, they are virtually pointless, except as fast rabbit punches to induce interrupts and reactionary blocks.-The unique style 'Spirit Thief' is far too slow when replenishing Chi and subsequently Health, but still very useful to tank-up if no shrines are around.-The enemies’ reactions and timing are increased, so it is unwise to hit an enemy, unless it is blocking, staggered, or immobilized. Mobility and speed are key. Evading attacks is paramount.

Blocking is typically unwise, except for the exception. Better to not be there, especially with multiple damage sources.+Solutions:+Assassinating the highest risk target, in the most efficient manner is key. The highest damaging attack I'm aware of, is Jade Golem. I consider the Power attack as a replacement for martial and weapon Power attacks to bash shields; thanks to interrupting styles quickly (for mobility), it is virtually the only attack I use it for.+Since transformations are too immobile and cost far too much Chi, swap rapidly between styles. As one style's attack is being executed, swap to another. There is a momentary delay in Chi degradation, so swap in and out of transformed states, preferably before the degradation begins.+Use of Red Minister to replenish Chi and Health is key!

Swapping between Red Minister and Jade Golem is the Jade Master version of lighter combos and Power attacks.+Tang's Vengeance is primarily relegated to trash mobs. The unlimited Focus, reach, multi-enemy cleaves, and footwork are too impressive to ignore, in the correct situation anyway. Damage is pitiful on JM, but it can be useful to swap in and out of.+Use fast martial styles to interrupt enemies. Also, use tumbling and jumping the same way. Try to always stagger before transforming, so the ♥♥♥♥♥♥'s attack will hit.

This is invaluable for Red Minister light attacks.Note: Of course, immobilizing is great when the enemy is not immune: Ice Shard vs. Fliers, Dragon Storm for crowds, Stone Immortal if not flying, Paralyzing Palm on solo targets, etc.+After inducing an enemy to block, swap to Jade Golem, execute a Power attack, then swap instantly to another style to conserve Chi and restore mobility. Never end a fight in Jade Golem mode! If the timing is wrong, it will drain an amazing amount of Chi.+To keep pace with the damage disparity of enemies, interrupt them first, then use Red Minister as the light combo attacks and replacement for Spirit Thief, then Jade Golem to break block, then swap again Martial style to tumble, RM to vamp, magic/support to immobilize, etc.Note: Hot swapping so quickly with transformations, means the player can’t see ♥♥♥♥. Mainly, try to watch the health meters on the HUD, but also learn to anticipate movements, displacements, range, blocks, etc.+Transformations provide immunity to various attacks and do far more damage than weapons and martial styles. Compare with Leaping Tiger: It pushes and follows a target, which evades other enemies. Both methods are aggressively defensive, but on JM, the latter is primarily for mobility, not killing.+If Red Minister will kill the last enemy too quickly, but it is desirable to fill the Chi meter, swap to Spirit Thief, as usual.

However, be aware that with increased speed, timing, and reactions, the enemies are dangerous when using full combos. Also, the duration on effects is reduced in JM, so they may break free too soon. Therefore, only hit the enemy once or twice with light attacks, while constantly walking forward. This causes an “interrupt-lock” situation; the double tap is especially efficient at recharging Chi.Putting it all Together:I’ll use Lost Spirits and Ghost from the forest as an example, since they respawn and make good practice dummies.

Focus-sprinting between the two clearings near Pilgrim’s Rest, is best. In case of mistakes while learning, use Heaven’s Chi shrine, near the forest’s Focus shrine. Each clearing only has one Lost Spirit during respawns, which also makes learning easier. Keep in mind, the D-Pad selections change depending upon enemy types throughout game.On the controller’s D-Pad, queue up:.Leaping Tiger (or favorite “fast” style) – Mobility, pressure, interrupt, footwork, and flips.Jade Golem – Block breaker, assassination attack, crowd dispersal, and multi-enemy attack.Red Minister – Light combo attacks, Spirit Thief replacement, reasonable sustained damage.Spirit Thief (Alternate: Ice Shard can immobilize flying enemies).Advice:Target swapping is paramount. For instance, while using Red Minister, if enemies begin blocking, swap to one that is not. Don’t waste time with other attack types like Power or AoE. Alternatively, use martial to escape, Jade Golem to disperse, or magic/support to immobilize.Highest risk targets must be eliminated first.

Rely on mobility and transformations to reduce damage taken. For instance, even one enemy with a weapon, or in this case, one Lost Spirit, can kill a Jade Golem incredibly fast.Styles must be interrupted during the final animation sequence of an attack. Don’t wait till afterward, or it is too late. Don’t swap too soon, or the attack fizzles. Basically, the position, attack animations, and potential blocks of enemies must be anticipated. The player can’t hardly see anything other than occasional glimpses and possibly health meters.

This is another reason why a fast-mobile martial style is invaluable.Play-by-play:.Enter the glade/clearing and activate the enemies. Pause, select martial style, select Lost Spirit if nearby. If Lost Spirit is far away, remove target locks and sprint or Focus-sprint to Lost Spirit, then lock.Tumble into the Lost Spirit, or open with a light attack to interrupt it.If it gets staggered, swap to Red Minister and use combos. When it blocks, swap to Jade Golem, use Power attack. Not sure what to do? Swap to martial combos for defnesive-aggressive light combos, induce blocks, evade. Style interupts rule in this game. Heck, even the AI does it. I was toggling between Demon Sword and Tang's Vengeance against First Brother, while he was able to swap styles and even cast Heavenly Wave while holding a staff and jittering from perpetual stagger-locks.One of my new favorites is Demon Sword + Tang's Vengeance toggling.

The reach and aggresive footwork is just obscene in large mobs. Changing the target lock constantly can cause the character to dance circles through the crowd.I make mistakes with my inputs regularly, but I found a video where the player hits every single input and has precise timing; he never misses. Astounding!Check it out.

Jade Master: Imperial ArenaAnyone got good tips, tactics, strategies? The arena is a lot more challenging on JM.I just finished and got my Iron Palm, but I was sloppy and learning while doing. The hardest points for me were:Imperial Engagement -I didn't get the Elephant Demon dead in time, so I had to evade him while fighting all 3 brothers with Tang's Vengeance and Demon Sword toggles.

I saved one to replenish Chi and Health, just to be safe. Then I immolated the demon as a Horse Demon and crushed him as a Jade Golem & Chi Strike.Serpent's Challenge -I'm not used to Horse Demons being that sturdy.

Using weapons and Chi Strike were too costly and still not efficient enough, so I poisoned them as a Frog Demon when they appeared, used Focus just to be double-safe, used Jade Golem with Chi Strike to kill one, then repeated the process for the other. Tang's Vengeance might not use Focus when fully upgraded, but toggling with the Demon Sword really guzzles (if mistakes are made when toggling and it is used too much). I wish we could keep all versions of weapons, rather than displace them; that way, Fortune's Favorite could still be utilized for zero Focus costs.

2 Part One Bound By LandTake Zu with you and you'll come across three ghosts. These guys are moderately tough, since they are using staves.

This will give you plenty of time for testing your wits with these fellows in terms of evade attacks. As you might have noticed, when you evade an enemy and you and close to that foe, you will damage him or her. The staff enemies and prime targets to test these maneuvers on. The first headstone along the path is booby trapped with ghosts.

Pop the stone and out comes three ghosts, which are relatively easy since Zu takes the one with the weapon while you handle the projectile enemies. A Spirit Font lies up ahead for your healing needs. You can find some Bones around the corner containing silver, but go through the pagoda to find some regular bad guys. Open the Bamboo Cask before the cut-scene. Silk Fox wants to fight no matter how you handle the situation, and boy, is she tough. She will most definitely use her widespread attacks that hit all party members that are near, and she is lightning fast.

enter the address of your current e-mail address;. agree, that is putting a tick, the rules and policies of confidentiality. Super hero squad online game. once again select 'next'.And you super hero.

Zu is good to have here since his muscle will help take her down. Afterwards, heal up and backtrack to the Spirit Font to rest. Now, go back to Silk Fox's location and head right at the fish statue to enter Tien's Landing. You will receive the Good Fortune gem upon entering town, so equip it. Open the chest at the start, and take some time to talk to your followers. Afterwards, go follow the path and watch the cut-scene with the older woman and teenage daughter to receive a quest. Up ahead, watch the cut-scene.

Answer as you may, but we decided to rough these guys up for the sake of XP. These guys are kinda tough, although no more tough than your average 'forced' fight. Go for the hand-to-hand guys first and then take out the staff wielding one. Afterwards, watch the cut-scene between Zu and Hui. At the end, you will receive the Spirit Thief Style. Read the scroll here. Before running in to speak with Hui, you should talk to several villages around the temple, such as Gufu the Sweet.

Go speak with Seamstress Lan on the left side of the building to accept a sidequest. Follow her directions to reach Beggar's Pier. Just keep going southeast until you reach a cut-scene. These thugs aren't hard at all; just keep rocking them steady with Martial style. Afterwards, go to the boathouse and attempt to speak with Ai Ling.

Enter the boathouse after explaining to the guard that you're here about Bei, and read the scroll at the start of the room. Speak with Ai and bring Bei there. Get them to make up by choosing the nicest answers possible, and you will receive quite a bit more XP.Before leaving the boathouse, bring the Vase to find the Boathouse Key, and open the gate. Go up top and search the room (read the scroll, as well). There is more! Another sidequest can be activated by speaking to Ai Ling. Agree to find her a husband, and go speak with Chumin the Carpenter.

He is a perfect match. You can find him near the southwest corner of the map, at the buildings under construction. Don't ask for a payment, as you will receive one by not asking. You can visit Lishun near where you found Chumin, but for now, you should return to the teahouse and speak with Hui again.Upon entering the teahouse, you will be ambished by even more of those pathetic sailors. These guys are simple since Hui fights alongside you once more. Just use basic Martial styles, and please take note of the impromptu weaponry scattered around the room. Speak with Hui, Old Mother Kwan and the Steeper.

This activates a Sidequest. Three Sheets Dutong is in the corner. Use one of the peasant's drinks and two of the Imperials. Confront him about the Writ and choose to sell the old woman out or not.

We chose not to, as we like crazy old ladies.Go upstairs and activate another Sidequest by walking up to Zhong, the ogre. Talk to Dong Ping about Zhong, and then talk to the ogre himself. We recommend treating him kindly. This Sidequest ends quickly with kindness, and you get both silver and XP for doing so. Afterwards, go speak with the chef and you can agree to give it a go.

Yay, another sidequest! Try these disgusting dishes. After all, you get to eat ox testicles outside of real life for once! If you eat all three dishes, you can try the special dish. Survive and tell the tale to receive the Bronze Tongue and all of your silver back.

Exit the teahouse, finally.Travel to the top of the area to watch a cut-scene where a thief walks away with a blade. Sidequest time! Talk to Merchant Cheung and go visit Tong down by Beggar's Pier. At Beggar's Pier, go to the docks to watch a cut-scene. Talk to Captain Ing. Offer to close the dam for him to open up yet another Sidequest. Go north from here to find Tong.

You can easily resolve this without violence. Return the figurine to Merchant Cheung up north to receive a discount on all purchases from his shop. Back at Beggar's Pier, Darting Lynx can teach you several moves, if interested. Mistress Vo and Jian the Iron Fist will offer you the teachings of the Open Palm or Closed Fist at a later date. Lastly, speak with the Messenger beside Merchant Cheung to accept a Sidequest to cure the forest.Go left and speak to Old Wei regarding the flood. At last, speak with Minister Sheng.

Speak to him about literally everything, although the flyer and the ruins are most important. As you walk away, Merchant Jiang comes up to you with a counter-offer. He wishes for the Dam controls to be destroyed.

He offers some mighty silver for your services, so this is an excellent opportunity if you are walking the path of the Closed Fist. As for us, we chose Open Palm, and doing so declined his offer. Before leaving the city, go south near Big Tian to find another bookstand, and open the cask near the boathouse to find a new gem. Don't forget the bookstand next to Minister Sheng. The final bookstand is aboard Captain Ing's ship.As for what to do next, we will go to the forest up north to complete that wealthy sidequest. Watch the cut-scene and you will be ambushed by several ghosts.

These ghosts are very easy compared to past foes. The Lost Soul is fairly hard on the defensive side, although his attacks are weak. Afterwards, talk to Lord Yun to find out that he has acquired a wind map. Agree to help his forest and hear more about the Forest Shadow. After this, head deeper into the forest and get prepared for another ghost battle at the top of the walkway.

There are two Lost Spirits here, so get ready for your partner to die quickly. Take care of the normal ghost first and then whittle away at the two spirits.Pop the Bones to find an Inferior Warrior Gem.

There is a Spirit Font down south from here, so rest up there. Follow the path along the left side. Check the Bones at the water for some silver, and carry on the path. Ghouls will come after you once you have reached the bridge.

Your battlefield is slightly smaller here, so be careful when fighting. Watch the cut-scene after talking to the man, and check the headstones up ahead for items and silver. Up ahead you will find a few headstones and a few more spirits with a ghost or two.

This battle is tricky since the spirits team up on you. Eliminate them first, as they are the ones that will do you the most harm. You may want to use your newly found Spirit Thief style to gain Chi when you run out of healing Chi. You w#ill reach the Pilgrim's Rest Inn sign up ahead. As you get near the Pilgrim's Rest Inn, you will encounter more ghosts.Begin fighting the ghosts fiercely, as you grow closer to the Inn. This very well may be the single hardest fight in the game thus far, so get prepared for several waves of ghosts with a few lost souls linked in with the bunch. Always take the souls out first, as they can drain your Chi fairly quickly.

Use Spirit Thief frequently, as well, and use healing Chi as frequently as you can. Afterwards, enter the Pilgrim's Rest Inn.Once inside, you can break a rock for an item to your right and get prepared for a Lost Spirit fight x3. This fight isn't as hard as you'd think, as the spirits are very much so apart from one another. After they are dead (again), check the booby trapped bamboo cask on the left.

Walk up the ramp and watch the cut-scene. Go inside of the Inn and speak with the Keeper. Talk to him about many things to get an odd feeling about the fellow. A weird aura, indeed.

Go to the back and talk to Henpecked Hou. Keep at him until he mentions something fishy is going down at the Inn. Go speak to the Keeper and mention the Mother, but be prepared, as Hou warned.Of course, you want to kill these freaks and free the Forest Shadow, so decline the polite offer of being not eaten for dinner and equip your legendary weapon. Go for the Innkeeper first, as the midgets are a feeble group of peasants that can easily be dismantled. This guy has tough defense, and his ice shards attack isn't the easiest to deal with. Sidestepping is the key to victory against the Innkeeper.

After killing him, pick off his little goons one by one until they no longer hunger for flesh. Don't expect your partner (likely still Zu) to help much; they will be dead before you even kill the Innkeeper. After the first battle, more cannibals attack. These guys are so mind-numbingly simple that your heart won't skip a beat.

Just combo them with Martial style until they block, and switch to another target. Rinse and repeat. After everyone is slaughtered, collect the Temple Crystal and watch the cut-scene. Get Henpecked Hou to join your party as a Fellower. He will teach you the Drunken Master style, which you can only use while he is in your party. He's not much on helping otherwise, though, and you must keep him away from the battle. Open all of the jars, jugs, and casks in here, and don't forget to read the scroll stand before leaving.

Follow the path to the forest temple by reading the signs, and search the Bones along the way. Watch the cut-scene up ahead and get ready to battle against Black Whirlwind, whom is a great fighter, albeit drunk. He reacts exactly as you normally would, which makes this a tricky fight. Use Drunken Master style, as it is relatively fast and does a decent chunk of damage.

Do not use your Chi blasts whatsoever, as they are too slow to matter. Evade a lot and lay into Whirlwind quite a bit until he is down for the count.
