Go full screen - even if you have to lower the visual quality of the game, full screen will benefit you when you have to spot targets. A challenge such as Scouting will benefit from going full screen.

This depends on the person playing though, but I find it easier to spot targets, when I have a bigger picture. Adjust to the challenges - play them over and over again so you know what combination of targets and hostages there is. If you know how the challenge unfolds, you can plan in what order to take down targets. Note that in some challenges, certain targets may appear in different order each time.

Even Bullseye targets can switch locations and directions. Keep the combo going - after hitting a 3 targets fast after each other, your score will be multiplied by 2. If you can keep this combo going by hitting more targets, you'll improve your score alot.

In some challenges, it's even possible to keep the combo going when the level is switching out targets. Sometimes Bullseye targets can be the key to keep a combo going. Hit the Bullseye targets in the middle - I wasn't aware of this the first time I played Bullseye, but the Bullseye targets are divided up into two sectors. The outer ring of the Bullseye target gives you a decent score, but the middle ring gives you an even higher score!. Mix Bullseye targets into the combo, not before - in some of the challenges, there may be 2 or 3 targets that pops up, and then a Bullseye target.

If you're fast enough, take down the normal targets to start the combo, and then take down the Bullseye target. The score from the Bullseye target will get multiplied by 2, and it'll make a huge difference. Timing also matters - if you shoot the target relatively fast when it pops up, you'll receive a time score bonus, to the score you receive for whatever body part you hit. If you take too long to take down the targets, the time score bonus will decrease, and this factor can be crucial as well if you want to beat some of the tougher highscores. Reload when you hear the beep - as stated in the tips at the loading screen of Bullseye, reloading time can be crucial aswell. If you reload when you hear the beep, the reload time is reduced, and you will reload faster.

If you want to know when to perform a 'Quick Reload' by looking at the ammo counter, it's when there is 5 bullets left in the clip. At later levels, you will gain an enhancement called 'Zoom Reload' which lets you reload while you're zoomed in when the weapon. Note that 'Zoom Reload' only can be used when a 'Quick Reload' is available. Adjust to the weapon enhancements - the assault rifle in Bullseye comes with different enhancements when you reach the higher levels. There's a red dot sight, a scope and a flash light which can all be toggled on or off.

As for the sight enhancements, it's really a matter of taste, but I recommend using the iron sights for close range targe, the red dot sight for medium distance, and the scope for long distance. When it comes to the flash light, I recommend turning it off in challenges where it is turned on. The normal level lights will come on, and you will see much more clearer.

Sometimes you have to take the hostage out of the equation - shooting hostages in vital areas such as the head or torso marked with a cross gives you a penalty, and you will loose points. Areas not marked with the cross can be shot without a penalty though, so if you have to shoot the arm of a hostage off to get to the target, so be it. Targets go down twice (After-kill) - the developers of Bullseye have confirmed that it is possible to get a higher score for shooting the head AND the torso on the same target.

When the target is moving, shooting it in either the head or torso will result in stop of movement, and therefore you can easier hit the remaining vital part. Note, this also works on Bullseye targets, you can hit both the other circle and the inner circle to gain extra score. On a single targets, I recommend shooting the head first and then the chest, but if there's multiple targets and you have to be fast, you can aim at the chest, and hold down the mouse-button for a short duration. The recoil will push your gun upwards, and the bullets will go from the chest to the head.

This also works on Bullseye targets.Good luck, and I hope this gives you some practice for when Bullseye gets added to Interstellar Marines on Steam next month!
